About Me
Who Am I
My name is Troy McKeone. I’m a Network Engineer with over 7 years of experience in the ISP/MSO space.
Throughout my life I’ve been teaching myself all things technology. I’m very fortunate to have found myself in a career that I’m passionate about. I’ve gained experience in a wide range of both enterprise and service provider technologies, such as routing and switching, linux/server administration, programming, DOCSIS and PON. Currently I am certified JNCIP-SP, and I’m actively pursuing JNCIE-SP. I also have CCIE and CCDE on my bucket list, but I’m in no rush.
I’m married to a wonderful and very supportive wife, and we also have two beautiful little girls. When I’m not working or studying technology, I enjoy listening to audio books, specifically the horror genre at the moment. I also love listening to a wide range of music and podcasts. I try to stay pretty active, taking walks or bike riding with my family, and I also like to lift weights.
I don’t really use social media at the moment, so I don’t have any connect with me links. If I ever decide to start again I’ll be sure to add some here.
